Community Partner Program
Raising the future of Yakima together
The heart of our mission as a church, and the reason why we started a school, is to be a seed of the kingdom of God, that his kingdom might grow and flourish in our city.
The things that keep us up at night tends to be anxiety about the future. Will my business make it? Will my kids grow up and do something good with their life? What will my legacy be? What is the future of Yakima? All important questions to consider. While there are many ways to answer these questions, our conviction is that the future of Yakima is our children. If we want to see change, if we want to see growth, then we have to invest in our children. Because one day soon, our city will be in their hands.
We started Immanuel Classical School to raise up generations of children, so that they are prepared to go out into the world, formed into the image of Christ, to bring life wherever they find themselves.
We are looking for community partners who want to join us in this mission, for the life of Yakima.
Of course one of the big barriers to this is the cost. Not everyone who desires to be a part of this kind of educational community has the financial resources to afford it. We would like to invite you to become a Community Partner, so that you can help us fulfill our mission, and have a lasting impact in our city.
What is an ICS Community Partner?
A community partner is a business or individual who partners financially with ICS to help provide financial aid to families who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access our school.
Where does the money go?
The community partner gifts are given directly to students in need, which is determined based on a financial aid application, and applied to families based on the education council's discretion.
What is the benefit to the community partner?
There are a few different benefits to the community partners.
Long term investment in the future of our community.
Receive recognition for your gift, on our website, a physical plaque inside the school, and in our written communications.
Receive bi-annual letters from students who receive financial aid from your gift.
